Overnight lane closures are planned on Rio Bravo in Albuquerque this coming week as crews shift traffic for the Rio Bravo Bridge Replacement Project. Both directions of Rio Bravo between Second Street and Isleta Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m., with the overnight restrictions expected to run from Sept. 14 through Sept. 18.
The reductions affect both eastbound and westbound drivers on the stretch between Second Street and Isleta Boulevard during the overnight work window.
Crews are shifting traffic as part of the bridge replacement effort, and drivers passing through the corridor at night are likely to see delays through the week.
