Katie Crouch highlights ALS New Mexico aid and Albuquerque fundraiser event

Katie Crouch visited Albuquerque to discuss support programs and an upcoming benefit for ALS New Mexico. The organization provides care and financial resources to families who are facing amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Crouch serves as the president and CEO of ALS New Mexico. She visited the New Mexico Living set at the Balloon Fiesta to share the group’s mission.

The organization works to ease the burdens carried by patients and their relatives. It loans essential medical equipment to people in need. The group also helps arrange home modifications. In addition, it distributes financial aid to affected households.

A benefit event called Canvas & Chords takes place on October 30. It will begin at 6 p.m. at Backstage at Revel. Local artists and bands will attend the gathering in Albuquerque. Guests can also participate in an auction.

The event gathers members of the local art, music, and philanthropic sectors. The gathering celebrates local creativity and raises money for people living with the disease across the state.

ALS New Mexico operates as a non-profit organization serving families throughout the state. The group maintains community aid programs that supply medical devices and direct support services.

Crouch said the non-profit functions as a family to deliver steady backing to residents.
