Albuquerque Empty Bowls fundraiser to benefit Storehouse New Mexico food pantry

Artists in Albuquerque are hosting a community event on October 24 to raise money for local charity work. Proceeds will directly support food pantry services provided by Storehouse New Mexico.

The annual gathering is organized by Albuquerque Empty Bowls. Local artists and craftspeople lead the effort. Every dollar raised supports the partner charity.

Ticket holders choose a handcrafted bowl made by a regional artist. They also receive soup, bread and dessert. Area restaurants donate all the food.

The gathering takes place at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. Doors stay open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets cost $35.

Storehouse New Mexico operates a community food pantry. The organization distributes food supplies to local residents in need.

Guests keep their selected ceramic bowl as a reminder of hunger in Albuquerque. Ticket sales support pantry operations.
