Former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez received a jail sentence in Albuquerque on Wednesday for violating probation. He must serve 30 days behind bars.
Earlier this year, Sanchez was sentenced to five years of supervised probation. That case involved shooting a gun from a moving vehicle along I-40 last year. Sanchez was later arrested in Socorro for a DWI.
Probation requires people to obey court orders. Judges may impose jail time for violations.
Once released, Sanchez must complete a drug and alcohol rehab program in Albuquerque.
