New Mexico high school football Week 4 scores: Artesia tops Deming 53-0
Artesia beat Deming 53-0 on Friday night as Week 4 of New Mexico high school football rolled on. The Bulldogs’ shutout was one of several across the state, where six other teams held opponents scoreless.
Cleveland topped Farmington 69-35 in the night’s highest-scoring matchup. Volcano Vista shut out Clovis 50-0, La Cueva blanked West Mesa 54-0 and Las Cruces beat Hobbs 41-0.
Roswell pulled off a 39-35 win over Rio Rancho and followed it with a 56-26 victory over Alamogordo. Santa Fe topped Highland 55-24, Centennial beat Carlsbad 35-7 and Goddard shut out Chaparral 47-0.
Gadsden handled Mayfield 56-21, Los Lunas blanked Capital 50-0 and Belen beat Pojoaque 47-6. Valley shut out Del Norte 53-0, Silver edged Moriarty 22-19 and Hot Springs handled Socorro 50-0.
In Thursday night’s results, Sandia beat Albuquerque High 46-0 and Cibola topped Miyamura 56-13.
