NM Higher Ed Department brings 25 colleges to State Fair

The New Mexico Higher Education Department will host a College and Career Pathway Day at the New Mexico State Fair on Wednesday, September 16. The event will bring more than 25 colleges, universities and community partners to share information with students and families about higher education and short-term career programs.

Cabinet Secretary Stephanie Rodriguez discussed the event during an appearance on New Mexico Living on Monday.

“We’ll have over 25 colleges, universities, and community partners right there to help students learn about colleges and universities,” Rodriguez said. “But also, what are some fast, short-term programs that can get them in the workforce right away with those really great job wages in New Mexico?”

Rodriguez leads the New Mexico Higher Education Department. The fairgrounds in New Mexico host the College and Career Pathway Day on September 16.
