New Mexico Heart Walk returns September 19 at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

The American Heart Association of New Mexico will hold its annual Heart Walk on September 19 at the Avanuy Plaza at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The event will feature an artisan market and resources about heart disease.
Heart disease remains a leading cause of death in New Mexico and accounts for roughly 21% of all deaths in the state, according to the American Heart Association. The organization has been a leading source of health information for more than 100 years, providing resources to save and improve lives affected by cardiovascular disease and stroke.
