Rail Runner, food bank team up to Stuff the Train

The New Mexico Rail Runner Express is partnering with the Roadrunner Food Bank to collect non-perishable food items at the Montano Rail Runner Station on September 16 and 23 from 8:30 to 10 a.m., during Hunger Action Month. Each person who donates a food item will receive a Rail Runner Day Pass valid through the end of 2026.

The event, called Stuff the Train, asks community members to bring non-perishable food items to the station.

Roadie, the Roadrunner Food Bank mascot, and Trax, the Rail Runner mascot, will be on site during each event to greet community members as they donate food items, according to the announcement.
