Lordsburg fire crews rescued a driver trapped in a car submerged in flood water Monday night. Crews responded to reports of a vehicle floating in flood water beneath the Highway 70 and Motel Drive underpass, where one person was stuck inside.
Rescue crews on scene said they found five to six feet of water around the trapped car.
Lordsburg police and fire crews located the person inside the vehicle and brought them out.
No injuries were reported, crews said.
