Gut health linked to cognitive function, expert says

The food a person eats can shape the health of their gut, and gut health is tied to how the brain works, according to Kim Bright, founder of Brightcore Nutrition. Bright said the gut microbiome affects every other area of the body.

Bright recommends fermented foods, and kimchi in particular.

Bright said all fermented foods are great, but kimchi is the best because it contains over 900 unique strains of beneficial bacteria.

Quoting research she cited, Bright said a study showed kimchi can improve cognitive function and memory.

Brightcore Nutrition now offers Kimchi One, capsules made for daily use. For more information, call (888) 592-9909.
