Rio Rancho Oktoberfest returns Saturday with German food and music

Rio Rancho will host its Oktoberfest on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sandoval County Administration Park. The event will feature German food, live music and family activities.

Oktoberfest has been held in Rio Rancho for more than 40 years, according to the city. The event was started by an owner originally from Germany.

Visitors can expect an obstacle course and other activities for children, along with local vendors selling their products. Several food vendors and breweries will offer bratwurst, schnitzel and beer.

Live music will play throughout the event.
