Tina Fey’s ‘Four Seasons’ to film in Santa Fe this week

Tina Fey’s “The Four Seasons” will film an episode in Santa Fe this week as the Universal Television series produces its third season. Filming will employ 165 crew members, 12 principal actors and about 250 background actors, all from New Mexico.

Filming will take place from Sept. 14 through Sept. 19 in and around Santa Fe, according to Film New Mexico.

Officials describe the series as focusing on three middle-aged couples who take quarterly vacations together: Kate and Jack, Nick and Anne, and Danny and Claude. Their relationships are tested when Nick divorces Anne and begins dating a younger woman, Ginny.

Fey is part of the ensemble cast, known for creating “30 Rock” and writing and performing on “Saturday Night Live.” She returns to New Mexico after filming “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” there in 2015 and a handful of other projects afterwards.

Additional cast members include Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Kerry Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani and Erika Henningsen. Forte most recently filmed the new “Coyote vs. Acme” in Albuquerque, and Domingo has been nominated twice for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Fey serves as one of the executive producers, alongside Lang Fisher, Eric Gurian, Jeff Richmond, David Miner and Wigfield.

The first two seasons of the show can be found streaming on Netflix.
