The New Mexico State Fair on Wednesday hosted a College and Career Pathway Day organized by the New Mexico Higher Education Department. Students met with college and trade school recruiters and learned about scholarships, GED programs, adult education programs, workforce training and loan repayment programs.
The Higher Education Department organized the event, held during the fair. Recruiters from colleges and trade schools around the state attended.
Attendees could get information on scholarships, GED programs, adult education programs, workforce training and loan repayment programs, according to the department.
A student culinary arts competition was also featured, showcasing students from across the state.
