Sandia Area, ReadWest team up for National Literacy Month

Sandia Area has partnered with ReadWest Literacy Center to mark National Literacy Month. The credit union is supporting the nonprofit’s efforts to expand adult education in the community.

ReadWest offers one-on-one tutoring and classes for teens and adults in English, reading, writing and math. According to the organization, its mission is to help individuals achieve their goals and create brighter futures.

Sandia Area has helped fund and support the expansion of ReadWest’s computer literacy classes. The partnership has also helped the nonprofit purchase materials for its library.

ReadWest has been empowering adults through quality, personalized education for nearly 40 years.
