NM colleges gather at state fair for pathway day

The New Mexico Higher Education Department will host its College and Career Pathway Day at the New Mexico State Fair on Wednesday, September 16. The event will bring together more than 20 New Mexico colleges and universities to share information with students and families about higher education opportunities.

Cabinet Secretary of the New Mexico Higher Education Department, Stephanie Rodriguez, discussed the event during an appearance on New Mexico Living on Monday.

“We’ll have over 25 colleges, universities, and community partners right there to help students learn about colleges and universities. But also, what are some fast, short-term programs that can get them in the workforce right away with those really great job wages in New Mexico?” said Rodriguez.
