A $3 million donation to the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation will fund a new neurological intensive care unit at Presbyterian hospital in New Mexico, with the space expected to open early in 2027. The unit will treat patients with neurologic or brain disorders, according to the foundation.
The neuro ICU will be connected to other neurology areas at the hospital, concentrating neuro work in the same area.
The foundation is supporting the work of building a stronger health care system to better serve the people of New Mexico. The donation allows that work to continue.
