New Mexico State Fair returns to Albuquerque with deals, rodeos

The New Mexico State Fair is underway in Albuquerque with rodeos, concerts, rides and food. The annual event runs with a lineup of discount days aimed at drawing specific crowds during the first week.

Wednesday is dollar day at the fair, with admission and rides priced at $1. Thursday is Graze Day, when food vendors will offer select menu items for $5.

Friday through Sunday is city and county employee appreciation, with those workers getting $5 admission with proof of city or county employment.

Saturday brings the first New Mexico Film Showcase at the fair.

The week also includes rodeos and concerts at Tingley Coliseum.
