Wiggly Butts Foundation holds first annual benefit concert in Albuquerque
The nonprofit dog rescue Wiggly Butts Foundation is hosting a benefit concert in Albuquerque on October 24. Proceeds from the show will directly support adoption sponsorships and community pet supplies. Winrock Town Center will host the performance.
Doors open at 5 p.m. The show runs until 10 p.m. The Barks & Bangers event requires attendees to be at least 18 years old.
Two local artists will perform during the evening. An alternative indie rock band from Canada will headline the stage. Food trucks and a full bar will serve food and drinks across the venue in Albuquerque.
Adoptable shelter dogs will also appear on site. Ticket revenue will help fund adoption fee sponsorships, going-home supply kits, and community programs.
The Wiggly Butts Foundation is an animal rescue organization that works to help local pets find permanent homes. Such nonprofits often rely on public ticketed gatherings to pay for care operations.
The organization launched in April 2026. Representatives said they have funded 58 dog adoptions in Albuquerque since the group started.
