Costco delivery expands to 47 states on Uber Eats

Costco has expanded its delivery partnership with Uber Eats to 47 states, up from 17, allowing members to order bulk groceries through the app. The expansion covers nearly 600 warehouse locations, according to the announcement.

The only states without the service are Rhode Island, West Virginia and Wyoming, because Costco does not operate any warehouses there.

To order, customers open the Uber Eats app, select their local Costco and enter their membership account number at checkout. Users can choose immediate delivery or schedule a later time. The app carries nearly everything the warehouse stocks, including fresh produce, household essentials and bulk groceries, as well as exclusive items like a 4.5-pound bag of Kirkland Signature chocolate chips.

Eligible Costco members can receive 50% off their first year of Uber One and 20% off in subsequent years. Uber One members get $0 delivery fees on eligible grocery and retail orders over $60.

Customers can also receive 20% off their first three Costco orders of $60 or more on Uber Eats, capped at $25 off per order. Costco is selling $100 Uber and Uber Eats gift cards for $79.99 for a limited time, both in warehouses and on its website.

Costco previously offered delivery through Instacart and DoorDash.
