Albuquerque Sam’s Club sells cheapest gas in New Mexico at $3.95

The Sam’s Club at 10600 Coors Bypass NW in Albuquerque is selling regular gas for $3.95 a gallon, tied for the lowest price reported in New Mexico. The price was reported Wednesday at 8:55 p.m., according to GasBuddy.com, which tracks fuel prices across the state.

A second Albuquerque Sam’s Club, at 1421 N Renaissance Blvd NE, was also listed at $3.95 as of 7:42 p.m. Wednesday. Two Costco locations, at 1420 N Renaissance Blvd NE and 9955 Coors Bypass NW, were priced at $3.99.

Outside Albuquerque, the lowest price reported in the source data was $3.97 at the Allsup’s at 8951 Mountain Vista Pkwy in Las Cruces. The highest among the lowest listed in the Las Cruces area was $4.36 at Murphy Express on South Valley Drive.

In the Santa Fe area, the lowest reported price was $4.19 at a Valero on North Riverside Drive in Riverside. Several stations in Pojoaque, Tesuque and White Rock were priced at $4.24 to $4.29.

GasBuddy reported a New Mexico average of $4.497 on Wednesday, compared with a U.S. average of $4.432. Mississippi had the lowest state average at $3.929, and California had the highest at $6.075.
