Albuquerque Rail Runner hosts Stuff the Train food drive Sept. 16

The New Mexico Rail Runner Express is collecting non-perishable food donations in Albuquerque on Sept. 16 and Sept. 23 as part of a “Stuff the Train” drive held during Hunger Action Month. The drop-off runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Montano Rail Runner Station.

Donations support the Roadrunner Food Bank, which is partnering with the Rail Runner on the events.

Each person who donates a food item will receive a Rail Runner Day Pass, valid through the end of 2026.

Roadie, the Roadrunner Food Bank mascot, and Trax, the Rail Runner mascot, will be on site during each event to greet community members donating food items.
